Definition | A computer file format for STereoLithography, or Standard Tessellation Language. It describes a physical space mathematically as a series of small triangles using a three-dimensional coordinate system, and is widely used in dentistry. The file can be created on one machine, edited on another, and sent to another for final manufacturing, even to a machine in a different laboratory. |
