Definition | The abnormal occlusion of one or more teeth to the opposing tooth or teeth, caused by abnormal tooth or jaw position. In the most typical crossbite, the lower cusps are buccal to the upper cusps, with the upper buccal cusps occluding in the lower fossae. |
