Definition | A clasp fabricated by lost-wax casting. 1. Cast as part of a partial denture framework. 2. Cast by itself for addition to an existing partial denture. It can be prepared for soldering or welding to the existing framework, or can be cast with retentive loops for embedding into the acrylic. |
