Definition | 1. The space between the cheek and the alveolar process. 2. The posterior end of the buccal vestibule which is often visible on older patients in the first molar region of the upper model. It is critical in the fabrication of dentures so that the upper denture does not interfere with the coronoid process of the ramus. |
