Definition | A generic arrangement of anterior teeth that you can use for most cases when you have no other reference such as a preoperative model. The basic esthetic composition is this: 1. Centrals flat to the front of the mouth, on the occlusal plane and vertical in profile. 2. Laterals face on the curve of the arch, 1 to 2 mm shorter than the centrals and vertical in profile, with their long axes tilted slightly to the distal. 3. Cuspids on the curve of the arch, 1 to 3 mm shorter than the centrals, rotated out 1 to 2 mm at the gingival with the mesials rotated slightly out and the distals in. |
