Definition | ZrO2, a white oxide of zirconium used in dental materials for its high strength and fracture resistance. Zirconia comes in a powdered form for refractory building or in blocks for milling or pressable ceramics. It can be used as a complete restoration or as an understructure for conventional ceramics. |
