Definition | A four-sided polygon in which opposite sides are parallel to each other. A parallelogram can be used to describe the arrangement of cusps on an upper molar, where the cusp tips are parallel to each other, but not at right angles. The occlusal table of an upper molar would also demonstrate such a shape. |
